Where does Aura Reading come from?
A letter from me to you
My journey with Aura Reading starts in December 2014, when I did the first of five training retreats at the Aura School, founded by Angelina Ataíde and Amelia Clark in the Piracanga ecovillage (Maraú Peninsula, Bahia, Brazil) .
I arrived at this first retreat without even knowing what it was about. My only intention was to deepen my process and take a few days for myself. When the day came to learn the technique, something happened... I felt the Aura Reading opening naturally within me, deeply connected, but still without any idea that in a short time I would be dedicating myself to it professionally.
At the end of 2015, closing a cycle in journalism, I went to live in this same ecovillage and stayed there for four years, dedicating myself every day to spirituality, to my personal development and to my evolution as an Aura Reading therapist and Rose Meditation instructor. I collaborated as a therapist and instructor in dozens of Aura Reading and other themes retreats. During the pandemic, I led the project that brought the courses to the digital world and completed my training as an Aura Reading teacher as well.
Both this Aura Reading techinique and the Rose Meditation (cleansing and energetic protection for you and for spaces, which is also the basis of the Readings), are techniques originating from the Berkeley Psychic Institute, a school for spiritual development founded em 1973 by Lewis Bostwick in California.
It is a technique with a strong presence in this region of the United States, where it is known as Psychic Reading, also in Portugal and in Brazil, but it remains very little known in Spain until these days.
So I feel that it is part of my mission to bring it to these lands with great care and affection – and, of course, to continue expanding the Reading where it is already known.
